The Bachelor is back for episode two tonight as former Bachelorette contestant Joey Graziadei searches for his second chance at love.
Joey was announced as the next Bachelor during The Bachelorette’s season 20 finale, where he finished in second place.
Season 28 welcomed back host Jesse Palmer, who took over from Chris Harrison in 2021 after he was fired due to controversial comments he made in an Extra interview.
The season premiere on 22 January saw the arrival of 32 women entering the Bachelor mansion, all competing for roses and, ultimately, Joey’s heart.
That number quickly declined as 10 hopefuls were sent home. Among the 22 women to make it to the second episode were two sisters who quickly revealed their familial relationship after initially planning on keeping it a secret.
US viewers will be able to tune into the new episodes of The Bachelor on Mondays on ABC at 8pm ET/PT.

In an anti-climactic moment, Lauren eliminated herself from the competition. After having waited the whole evening to speak with Joey, she said she was in a “bad mood” about the delay.

Maria, 29, was confronted about an apparent comment she made about Madina (31) being “old”. But, Maria tried to clear the air by telling the group that she positively does not think 28, 29, 30 and 31 are old.
“The dumbest fight in Bachelor history,” Maria declared – and we agree.
Edwina was the winner of the one-on-one date after she showed her agility and competitiveness during the second group date: a cross between flag/heart football and paintball.
The contestants get colourful
The Bachelor alumni Jubilee Sharpe and Demi Burnett return to host a boot camp-style challenge featuring a LOT of paint throwing.
But wait, there’s a twist: Demi and Jubilee reveal that despite the blue team winning, just one of the women will get extra time with Joey.
Edwina gets the call-up – she did have the best line of the challenge, after all. “I’m falling for you, Joey,” the 25-year-old said after she literally faceplanted the floor.
Fans question producers for sending Daisy on helicopter ride and music festival date
Not an ideal set of circumstances for Daisy, who is hard of hearing and uses a cochlear implant. Her first date with Joey is a helicopter ride to a music festival. She says more than once that she’s anxious about whether she’ll be able to hear Joey, who she hasn’t told about her condition just yet.

Jess gets the first group date rose
After a heart-to-heart with Jess, where she discussed her experience with infidelity in her previous relationship, Joey chose to give her the group date rose.
Daisy wins the first one-on-one date
Fan-favourite Daisy won the first one-on-one date with Joey. She opened up about her cochlear implant with the rest of the girls and shared that she’s nervous about having to tell Joey about her hearing loss.
