Love Island catch-up: Alexandra causes yet more drama for Laura and Jack - while Megan and Wes make things official
All the latest from Mallorca as the contestants search for love and try to evade sunburn
After the heartbreaking news that it is in fact not coming home, how better to cheer yourself up than a healthy dose of Love Island.
Pushed back to 10pm due to extra time in the England vs Croatia game, there was a lot that needed sorting in tonight's episode.
Tension filled the villa after new boy Idris told Laura the truth about Georgia and Jack's romantic moment.
Thankfully after some very awkward chats by the pool, it seems everyone has decided to let it go (Laura is fine. She's definitely fine everyone, OKAY?!).
New contestant Alexandra joined the line-up, taking Dr Alex and New Jack for some surprisingly successful dates, much to the annoyance of Laura (she is DEFINITELY STILL FINE).
But it was Megan and Wes that would end up being the star of tonight's show. The loved-up pair cemented their tumultuous relationship by branding each other boyfriend and girlfriend.
Oh yes, and Samira is still really sad about Frankie.
Follow our take on the villa drama as it happened.
Love Island continues weekdays and Sundays at 9pm on ITV2.
With swirling, inspirational music, Megan has asked Wes to be her boyfriend. The intensely over the top reaction in the villa surely shows just how bored these people are.
As if they'd announced an engagement, there is toasting, cheering and screaming over the news that Megan and Wes are an official couple.
What an evening. Between the World Cup andĀ Love Island,Ā I'm not sure I can take any more emotional turmoil.Ā
Here's your recap for tonight's 'salty' episode:Ā
- Laura and New Jack tentatively settled matters over the Georgia kiss
- Idris got a telling off from New Jack for dobbing him in
- New womanĀ Alexandra took Dr Alex and New Jack on dates
- Samira is still sad
- Megan and Wes make it official (no not engaged, just going out)
