Love Island favourite Maura Higgins and broadcaster Reverend Richard Coles made a dramatic entrance on Thursday’s episode (21 November).
That said, the pair are not quite roughing it like the rest. Instead, they’re being treated to mugs of tea, bubble baths, and fluffy robes – unbenownst to their fellow stars, one of whom Higgins has a surprising and potentially awkward connection with.
Also during the episode, Coleen Rooney opened up about her relationship with Wayne Rooney and appeared to address his “difficult” cheating scandals in the past.
Among this year’s contestants are Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall and Strictly Come Dancing pro Oti Mabuse. Others include McFly singer Danny Jones, Barry McGuigan and Rooney, who is the show’s highest-paid star in its history.
New episodes of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! air on ITV1 and ITVX every night at 9pm.

Maura Higgins reported to be latest celebrity to enter jungle
Love Island star Maura Higgins is rumoured to be entering the I’m A Celebrity jungle, according to The Mirror.
“I have no clue what time it is, I don’t know where I am,” she said. “In fact, I’ve done the opposite of preparing myself [for the jungle]. I’ve tried not to think about it, because when I think about it, I get so much anxiety.”
She would be the second Islander, after Olivia Atwood, to appear on the show.
“I just don’t want to let people down, because everyone’s been DMing me, saying ‘Oh my God, I hope you’re doing the show.’” she said. “I don’t want to back out of the trials and be the biggest wimp in the camp.

Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly have admitted they felt deflated when Dean McCullough quit a tame I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! trial.
McCullough, 32, became the first campmate of the series to yell “I’m a celebrity get me out of here” when he broke down in tears during The Sinister Sarcophagus trial on Tuesday, 19 November.
The Radio 1 presenter was shut into a small space to answer a series of Egypt related questions to win 10 stars for camp. For every question he got right, a star was lowered down for him to grab with his mouth.

When she was 26, Tulisa said she felt as though she’d clocked 60 years of life experience – a good chunk of those not positive. The highlights (or lowlights rather) being: the lurid leaking of a sex tape, a drug sting operation by a tabloid, and of course, the good old-fashioned misogyny and classism inherent to being a working-class woman in the public eye. Eating a platter of raw fisheyes? It’ll be a cakewalk in comparison.
