The new camp leaders made some changes that immediately ruffled feathers

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Tensions mounted in Sunday’s episode of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! when Jane Moore and Barry McGuigan argued over camp chores.
McGuigan and Danny Jones were voted by the public to become the new camp leaders, but quickly ruffled feathers by selecting Moore and Tulisa to wash up, and Coleen Rooney and Maura Higgins to act out duties of camp maintenance.
Despite Jones’s initial worry that women were being asked to do less physical tasks and that it could be taken negatively, McGuigan brushed it off. This proved a bad error, however, as Moore accused McGuigan of “misogyny” and later “ageism” when he used her age as a justification for his and Jones’s decisions.
Moore later said she was only joking, but both Tulisa and comedian GK Barry were left unsure...
Elsewhere in the episode, Rooney and Dean McCullough faced a gruesome Bushtucker Trial, winning nine stars for the camp.
Rooney also revealed what happened when she and husband Wayne met Donald Trump.

I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues every night at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
Phew, boring. But GK and Oti have won the “dingo dollars” and taken them to an ice cream van, where “Kiosk Kev” rings up the main camp to ask a trivia question...
Can the campmates get the answer right?
This is... not the most entertaining of tasks. Spice Girls, AC/DC, Missy Elliott and Rihanna providing soundtrack cues, however, so not a total loss.
Back from the break, we’ve joined GK and Oti as they take on a deals-on-wheels challenge.
They need to match the right car and its number plate with the right shop front. However, the driver is blindfolded, meaning their partner has to provide directions.
In the camp, Maura is explaining to Danny and Jane how she got “revenge” on her ex -- a scheme that involved a toothbrush, a dash of infidelity, and a Love Island application...
Ant and Dec teasing “Jack and the Screamstalk”, the next challenge.
It involves campmates climbing up a giant “beanstalk” and stuffing their hands into mysterious boxes of spiders and gunk in order to grab stars.
We’ll find out later which celebs have been voted to take it on. Richard and Tulisa, however, are exempt for “medical reasons”. Fear of heights potentially?
And time is up! Coleen has nine stars and probably needs an emergency disinfection.
Dean feels guilty.
By this point Coleen seems to be more bug swamp than woman, but she is persevering!
Eight stars!
“Sorry guys, sorry guys,” Dean yells. Coleen’s trying to get her seventh star. Dean is still struggling to sift through gunk.
“Keep calm, keep calm,” Coleen shouts to Dean while she’s the one covered in cockroaches and maggots.
Yes, Dean seems to be being spurted with some kind of black slop. And then some kind of innard stew? But for the love of god, please stop screaming Dean!
He seems to have forgotten he’s meant to pick up some tools. Even Ant seems exasperated.
