Your support makes all the difference.Excitement for Marvel’s next blockbuster film, Doctor Strange, is at an all-time high following positive social media reactions from various US journalists who attended an early screening.
Praise has been heaped upon the film’s special effects, particularly one of the centrepiece action sequences. Michael Giacchino’s score has also been lauded - the composer having previously worked on The Incredibles, Jurassic World, and Lost.
However, there were some negatives. Critics found the Marvel sense of humour out of place with some of the film’s darker tones, while others found issue with yet another origin story.
Despite this, the overall consensus seems relatively positive, especially when it comes to comparisons with Robert Downey Jr’s first outing as Iron Man, some believing Benedict Cumberbatch could be Marvel’s answer to Downey leaving the series.
