From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. The streaming platform on 2 April unveiled a vintage collection completing its – already extensive – Star Wars vault in the US and in the UK.
Five new Star Wars spinoffs are now available, beginning with both volumes of Star Wars: Clone Wars, 2003 animated micro-series developed by Genndy Tartakovsky. Each volume has a running time of a bit more than an hour.
Also added is The Story of the Faithful Wookie, a nine-minute animated short which originally formed part of the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special.
The new batch features plenty of Ewok-related content, with both seasons of the animated series Ewoks, which originally aired between 1985 and 1986, as well as the 1984 TV film Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure and its 1985 sequel Ewoks: The Battle for Endor.

Another series, The Book of Bobba Fett – teased in an end-credit scene in The Mandalorian – is in the works and expected to be released in December 2021.
All of Disney+’s Star Wars back catalogue, including the nine films of the Skywalker saga, The Mandalorian’s two seasons, remains available.
