Rihanna put on a spectacular performance for the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The nine-time Grammy winner made her return to live music after a five-year hiatus at the US event, performing hits including “Diamonds”, “Only Girl in the World” and “B**** Better Have My Money”. A representative confirmed the singer is pregnant with her second child soon after the performance.

In an interview with Good Morning America ahead of her iconic show, she told host Michael Strahan that she’s “excited to actually put new music out”.

However, she admitted that she doesn’t have “any updates” to give at the moment.

Country star Chris Stapleton opened proceedings by performing the national anthem, which has earned praise from fans online. Viewers were also wowed by actor Troy Kotsur’s sign language performance to the national anthem.

Other performances include Babyface singing “America The Beautiful” and Sheryl Lee Ralph giving her rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing”.

And it wouldn’t be the Super Bowl without brands vying for consumer attention with memorable, star-studded ads.

Some 100 million people are expected to watch the spectacle in the US alone.

Rihanna confirms second pregnancy after dazzling halftime show

A rep for Rihanna has confirmed the star is pregnant with her second child.

Speculation was sparked after the Barbadian star appeared for her headline performance at the Super Bowl halftime show tonight, during which she appeared to touch or cradle her swollen belly.

She had earlier told a podcast host that she was thinking about bringing a surprise guest to the performance, which fans now think was a hint at her baby news.

Rihanna fans are expressing their happiness after the singer confirmed she is pregnant with her second child following her Super Bowl halftime show.

On Sunday 12 February, Rihanna performed a medley of hits during her highly anticipated halftime performance at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. For the occasion, the singer wore a red jumpsuit, unzipped to show off a red bodysuit underneath.

The outfit prompted pregnancy speculation, with fans suggesting the bodysuit showed off Rihanna’s pregnant stomach. The singer added to the rumours when she rubbed her stomach during the performance.

Following the halftime show, a representative for Rihanna confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that she is pregnant with her second child. The singer also shares a nine-month-old son with boyfriend A$AP Rocky.

Former president Donald Trump lashed out at Rihanna after her widely acclaimed halftime performance at the 2023 Super Bowl.

Trump posted on Truth Social: “EPIC FAIL: Rihanna gave, without question, the single worst Halftime Show in Super Bowl history.”

He continued: “This after insulting far more than half of our Nation, which is already in serious DECLINE, with her foul and insulting language.”

In a final attack, he wrote: “Also, so much for her ‘Stylist!’”

Rihanna wears custom red Loewe jumpsuit as she reveals pregnant baby bump

Rihanna revealed she is pregnant with her second child during the Super Bowl 2023 halftime show while wearing an all-red custom jumpsuit by Loewe.

Underneath the jumpsuit, which she had zipped halfway up, the singer also wore a red bra plate.
