This election is still a dead heat, according to most polls. In a fight with such wafer-thin margins, we need reporters on the ground talking to the people Trump and Harris are courting. Your support allows us to keep sending journalists to the story.

Irish twins Jedward have made it through to their second Eurovision Song Contest final in a row.
The 20-year-olds, who made a name for themselves as contestants on the sixth series of X Factor, will perform on Saturday night in Baku, Azerbaijan.
At last night's Eurovision first semi-final the duo performed their pop track Waterline wearing silver and gold costumes with their trademark spiky hair flattened and bleached blond.
"Team Jedward all around the World you are the reason...you are the reason! why we are in the Eurovision Final and we are doing it for you!" the pair tweeted after the show.
They came eighth in last year's contest, with their single Lipstick. Jedward are the first act Ireland has sent into the Eurovision Song Contest two years consecutively.
On Saturday they will compete against the favourites, Russia's grannies, the Buranovskiye Babushki, and Britain's entry, crooner Englebert Humperdinck.
Humperdinck will perform his song Love Will Set You Free, which reached a disappointing 76th place in the singles charts today after selling just 3,442 copies.
Last night saw Romania, Russia, Moldova, Iceland, Ireland, Hungary, Denmark, Albania, Cyprus and Greece qualify for the Eurovision Final, in addition to France, Germany, Spain, Azerbaijan and the UK who had previously qualified.
The second semi-final will be held tomorrow.
