Having debuted last week, the first teaser trailer for Black Panther has caused a huge stir online, many excited to see Marvel’s upcoming superhero flick.

Thanks to Deadline, we know another actor will be returning for Avengers Infinity War; Danai Gurira, best known for playing Michonne on The Walking Dead.

While the report failed to confirm whether Gurira would be playing Okoye once again, we can likely expect her to reprise the role.

Okoye is a member of the Dora Milaje, guards of T’Challa (AKA Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman). Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba and John Kani will also play members of the Dora Mijlaje, the latter two having been briefly seen in Captain America: Civil War.

Gurira will next appear in Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez On Me, the actor playing the icon’s mother, Afeni Shakur, an actual member of the Black Panthers. Her other work includes Mother of George, Law & Order, and Treme.

Meanwhile, Captain America himself, Chris Evens, has been discussing the character's story in the upcoming Avengers, saying the two films will “wrap up” his story. Avengers: Infinity War hits UK cinemas 27 April 2018, while Black Panther touches down 18 February 2018.
