Regardless of your thoughts on Man of Steel, it's becoming increasingly more difficult to evade the excitement surrounding its follow-up Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
With two months to go, a pair of TV Spots have been released, each showcasing footage not yet glimpsed in any of the previous trailers.
A follow-on from Snyder's 2013 Superman film, the film's star Henry Cavill recently revealed that this film won't be so much a sequel but more "an introduction to Batman, an opening to Justice League, and an expansion of the world that was created in Man of Steel."
Characters set to be introduced in Batman v Superman - other than Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne - include Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) whose standalone WWII-set film is currently in production.
This will all build to the aforementioned Justice League film which will unite a group of DC Comics' superheroes in the same vein as Marvel's Avengers.
Jesse Eisenberg will also star in the superhero mash-up as antagonist Lex Luthor, while Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane and Amy Adams' Lois Lane are all down to return.
It's also been announced that Walking Dead actress Lauren Cohan - who plays Maggie Greene in the hit zombie drama - will make a brief cameo appearance as Bruce Wayne's mother, Martha, alongside Jeffrey Dean Morgan who'll play her husband, Thomas.
Coincidentally, Morgan has just joined The Walking Dead as villainous character Negan; he's primed to make a dramatic introduction when the series concludes its sixth season on 15 February.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released on 25 March.
