I support your assertion that our head of state ought to be elected and accountable. Is it right that the monarchy should be entitled to the income from the Crown Estates? It was our fathers and forefathers that fought and died for the freedom of this land. Should not the Crown Estates be the inheritance of the British people, rather than the inheritance of just one family?
