Having read the article by John Pearson, regarding the Lord Boothby/Ron Kray connection, I suggest that he confers with MI5 and gets his facts straight ("The lords of the underground", Review, 15 June). Some time back I read a report which clearly stated that MI5 had checked out the allegations and that there was no substance whatsoever in them.
