letter: Kenya, through other eyes

YOU write that "bandits have killed tourists in [Kenya's] national parks". In fact in recent years incidents of any kind of violence against tourists in our national parks have been reduced to virtually nil. For the record, the figures are: 1993 - three robberies; 1994 - two robberies; 1995 - one robbery; 1996 - one robbery. No tourists have been killed during this period.
