IS IT time for the constitutional reformers to come up with a mechanism for forcing a general election? Shareholders of companies and members of organisations can call an emergency general meeting if they are dissatisfied. We need a similar proces s for governments. The only alternative is the East German solution - standing in the streets until the "bastards" go.
