TWO MILLION Albanians are being ethnically cleansed at gunpoint in Kosovo. Tariq Ali's statement that much the same thing is happening in Turkey to the Kurds is an atttempt to deflect attention from this appalling fact and is simply not true. With his admiration for Serbia and Russia, Ali seems to have forgotten the 200,000 people who already died as a result of Serbian policies in Bosnia or the similar number in Chechnya.
