Sir: Kristen Lippincott ('Moving clocks into line with Europe 'goes against nature' ', 13 August) argues that Greenwich Mean Time is the only 'natural' time because the sun is at its highest at midday. Does she, I wonder, follow this to its logical conclusion by going to bed at 8pm and rising at 4am so that 'midnight' falls in the middle of the night? And how would she rate her chances of selling that idea to the British public?
Yours sincerely,
