Sir: 'Offensive' - the word used by the leader of an administration that has increased taxation on the mass of the population and reduced it for the rich, that has abandoned the provision of social housing, that rules by patronage and populism, that has driven some of its citizens to suicide and open revolt by the sheer incompetence of some of its administrative acts]

Where are the words to express the corruption and betrayal of the very essence and purpose of our society? But I know what he means - it's the stench of decay.
