Your support makes all the difference.Sir: I believe there is a discrepancy between exam boards when marking GCSEs. My daughter gained a D grade in GCSE maths last year and elected to retake the exam, using another board. During one year she re-submitted two pieces of coursework which had gained C grades the previous year and, to her astonishment, both were marked with an A. It is difficult to have confidence in a system which permits differing standards from one board to another.
