Sir: Starting, as he ends, with Nietzsche, Ian Angell seems to identify himself as an omniscient Superman for whom the use of the conditional is foreign, as the inexorable future of humanity is already revealed. Of course, professors of information systems are members of the elite, those "few entrepreneurial knowledge workers" with "unique skills"; so he can afford to display contempt for the rest of us.
