Sir: Mervyn Benford's first-class letter may have taken three days (letter, 8 February). He's lucky! Twenty-two parcels which I recently sent by Parcel Force have taken up to three-and-a-half weeks.
When I rang the Customer Relations department, I was told that although the normal delivery period was "within three working days", there was no question of a refund or compensation.
Parcel Force? Parcel Farce, more like.
