Letter: Motorcycles for everyday journeys: fast and fun, or dangerous?
Sir: I would like to comment on Russell Bulgin's article on 35- to 45-year-olds buying motorbikes 'for fun'.
My husband took up motorbiking last year at the age of 36. He was killed on a fine day in June when the bike turned over for no apparent reason and he was struck by a car. While he was alive and riding the thing, his family was demented with fear - now we are demented with grief. Not a lot of fun there.
Yours sincerely,
