I, TOO, AM a 'disappearing wife' (Letters, 15 August). Having called in at Thomas Cook in Leeds on several occasions, I finally arranged a holiday for the family in New York and paid in full. All the correspondence was subsequently sent to my husband and I was never mentioned. Is it not time for firms to change this policy?
