Our sadness at her passing is tinged with guilt that we did not make her aware of it while she was with us. It might have helped. But if a national conscience has been awakened, so has a national consciousness. If we owe it to her to keep alive her work we owe it to ourselves to nurture her spirit of belief in a better future.
