Sir: May I point out to The Rev Christopher Green (letter, 11 March) that his "consistent picture" in the Bible of "heterosexual sex in its right place - marriage" is somewhat marred by the fact that God did not arrange a wedding for Adam and Eve before they cohabited in the Garden of Eden.
