Want to grow a moustache and raise funds for prostate and testicular cancer, but in need of some inspiration? Flavourwire has come to the rescue with this photo gallery of the greatest moustaches of all time to mark the start of "Movember".
Classics include the Old West lawman Wyatt Earp, whose moustache "impresses both in length and thickness" and Friedrick Nietzsche, whose wonky, disordered moustache belied a terrifyingly ordered mind.
Perusers of the gallery will also note that there is no correlation between political correctness and moustache greatness: others on the list include murderous Mongol leader Genghis Khan.
