Mallorca is keen to change its image as a boozy holiday destination.

The deputy mayor of Palma, Alvaro Gijon, hopes a 24-hour public drinking ban and pricey hotels will move the place away from stag dos and 18-30s binge drinking tours, and attract more ‘upmarket’ clientele.

So which other boozy destinations could do with an image makeover?

Kavos, Corfu: As featured in Channel 4’s What Happens in Kavos… it's a famous destination for 18-30s holidays and holiday reps, who are apparently pretty much encouraged to spend the entire summer drinking and frollicking with tourists.

Magaluf, Spain: Or, 'Shagaluf' as it's also known. The resort was featured in The Truth about Magaluf earlier this year which featured muggings, drug-taking and 'Pyscho Alley'.
