Could this be the pants revolution we've all been waiting for? A Japanese company claims to have invented a line of deodorizing underwear that will allow even the most flatulent to break wind without posioning the nostrils of friends and colleagues.
Originally developed for those who suffered from irritable bowel syndrome, the garments are already apparently a hit with Japanese businessmen.
Their deodorizing power comes from stink-absorbing ceramic particles that are incorporated into the fibers of the underwear.
Seiren, the company marketing the Deoest technology, says it has worked on these pants for years.
And for the hygienically challenged, the company also sells odor-eliminating socks and undershirts.
