But is this the sort of thing it takes to fill empty pews in this secular age? After all, the Roman Catholic Church has been using beer mats and posters as part of a campaign to recruit more priests. There's a lot of competition out there.
Yet we foresee problems with the slogan: "Church. It isn't as churchy as you think." And we simply note that the advertising firm behind the Church's campaign was previously responsible for making Skoda cars cool. Perhaps two miracles in such a short space of time is a little too much to ask. Even for the C of E.
