12 Days of Christmas: Gillian Anderson on how your money can help fund life-saving research at GOSH
The X-Files actor delivered her special Give to GOSH message on the seventh day of our video series
Gillian Anderson is the latest celebrity to back The Independent’s Christmas appeal for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) with a special video message.
As part of our 12 Days of Christmas series, the 47-year-old actress, who became a household name playing Agent Dana Scully in the TV show X-Files, explains how donations can help fund crucial research projects at GOSH.
“Last year GOSH committed to funding seven research projects around the country, dedicated to improving treatment and diagnoses for children with rare diseases,” she said. “By supporting the Give to GOSH appeal, you can help brighten the future of these children with life-threatening diseases.”
With her Christmas message Anderson joins a growing list of famous faces who have endorsed the campaign as part of our series, including Jason Isaacs, Barbara Windsor and John Bishop.
David Beckham and Johnny Depp have also thrown their weight behind The Independent's record-breaking appeal, which has already topped one million pounds.
