Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Have you signed the petition and shared the link on your social media accounts? Now you can back the Final Say campaign by downloading this poster.

We were out at the Standon Calling music festival at last weekend where they went down a storm – some people even asked if they could have some to brighten up their festival attire.

Simply click this link and print it on your printer – it works at A4 or A3 size.

Thank you for supporting our campaign, and remember it doesn’t matter which side of the debate you are on, we just think the process has to change. Everyone knows more now than they did back in 2016. After all the party politics, resignations and failed negotiations, people have lost faith in parliament's ability to get to a point anyone wanted. And bearing that in mind, it's only natural and democratic that people should get the chance to have the Final Say and check that the outcome is definitely something that people want.
