Terrifying tornado funnel reaches into Kansas sky

Footage shows a tornado funnel ominously reaching into the sky over Westmoreland, Kansas.

Debris is seen being tossed into the air as the tornado appears to move across a road.

The Midwest of the US has been ravaged by twisters since Friday, destroying homes in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma.

Two brothers in Nebraska suffered injuries after being thrown into the air by a tornado as it tore through their home.

At least five people have been killed in the severe weather, one of them a four-month-old baby.
