Aftermath of 600-year-old oak tree splitting house in half in Arkansas
An Arkansas house has been left ‘split in half’ after a 600-year-old tree fell onto the property after heavy rains.
The incident took place in the city of Conway, which has had a very wet first-half of the year so far.
The Conway Fire Department rescued the resident, who wasn’t injured in the incident, despite the great oak tree crashing right through the structure of the house.
Warnings were issued by the National Weather Service, that flash flooding could take place on Thursday (11 May).
