Andy Murray writes emotional note to younger self offering key piece of Wimbledon advice

Andy Murray has penned an emotional letter to his younger self, sharing some advice for his Wimbledon debut.

The British star, 37, is expected to bring the curtain down on an incredible career at the Championships this year.

Murray became a two-time Wimbledon champion after bursting onto the scene at the tournament back in 2005.

“Dear Andy, a quick note ahead of your first Wimbledon,” he wrote, addressing his former self.

“Number one: Get a haircut. Number two: Get some clothes that fit. And three: Try to enjoy it, it will be gone before you know it.”

Nearly 20 years on from his Wimbledon debut, Murray is expected to retire following the Paris Olympics.
