Moment Daniel Ricciardo brutally loses mini boat race to Red Bull junior ahead of Miami Grand Prix

Daniel Ricciardo was brutally thrashed by Red Bull junior Yuki Tsunoda in a jet boat race ahead of today’s Miami Grand Prix.

The pair took to the water in the 30mph mini boats, which they joked are more adapted to Japanese Tsunoda’s height.

“Normally he’s the one getting a lot of stick about his size. He actually fit pretty good in this, and I looked out of place”, Ricciardo joked.

“I blame the vehicle, it is always the vehicle, never the person behind the wheel.”
