Lampard urges Chelsea players to ‘have a beer’ after 3-1 win at Bournemouth
Frank Lampard urged his Chelsea players to “have a beer” after their 3-1 win against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.
The interim boss praised his players for fighting through a poor run of form that saw them lose six straight games.
“I’ve been in relative periods where they are tough. Absolutely they should enjoy tonight, have a beer, have a glass of wine, whatever they do,” Lampard said.
Goals from Conor Gallagher, Benoit Badiashile and Joao Felix secured the 3-1 win away to Bournemouth, with Matias Vina netting for the hosts.
