Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp speaks after Bayern Munich pre-season defeat: ‘I hate losing’

Jurgen Klopp told reporters that he “hates losing” after watching Liverpool’s 4-3 loss in a pre-season friendly to Bayern Munich in Singapore.

Cody Gakpo, Virgil van Dijk and Luis Diaz were on the scoresheet for the Premier League club, but an injury-time goal from Bayern’s Frans Kratzig resigned the Reds to defeat.

Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane and Josip Stanisic netted the other goals for the Bundesliga champions.

“I hate losing,” Klopp said after the game.

“Pre-season, strong opponent, we could have scored a fourth as well... that’s how it is, let’s keep going.”
