England players take part in Yoga session as Southgate pledges to make them ‘fearless’
England's players have taken part in a yoga-based recovery session following their 0-0 draw with Slovenia.
Gareth Southgate’s team will now face Slovakia on Sunday (30 June) in the first knock-out stages of the tournament.
The squad’s qualification for the last 16 culminated in more boos about performance, with Southgate himself having plastic cups thrown at him.
Players including Harry Kane, Kyle Walker, and Jude Bellingham could be seen taking part in the yoga session today (27 June).
Southgate spoke of the “fearlessness” players need to show on the pitch after receiving criticism for their style of play during the tournament so far.
