Bizarre sport of underwater hockey is just as mad as it sounds
If you didn’t think hockey could be improved by moving it underwater you weren’t alone, but that doesn’t mean that some people aren’t going to give it a go.
Underwater hockey is a bizarre sport enjoyed by those at Moscow’s oldest diving club and is not to be confused with ‘Octopush’, a form of underwater hockey first played in the UK in the 1950s.
Fans and participants of the unusual sport hope that it will one day get the recognition they feel it deserves, and even potentially make it into the Olympics.
