Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud acclaims culture and horseracing link

The Independent spoke with Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who says it’s “about time” the world came to the Saudi Cup and how horseracing is “synonymous” with Saudi Arabia.

Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also reminisced about growing up around horses, saying “I was fortunate enough to be a horserider all my life, in the desert. We had stables here in Riyadh”.

The Saudi Cup is organised by The Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia in partnership with The Ministry of Culture.
