World Cup: Sarina Wiegman refuses to focus on Walsh’s injury ahead of China match
England boss Sarina Wiegman played it cool when she was asked about Keira Walsh's knee injury going into the final group game against China.
During a press conference, Wiegman was asked if she thought the knee injury was World Cup-ending for the Lionesses since their star midfielder Walsh won't participate in the game due to the injury.
"No, I think we have a strong enough team, I think every game we want to be at our best, and we know she's not available," said Weigman.
The Lionesses need just a point against the Women’s Asian Cup champions on Tuesday to clinch the top spot in Group D.
