Inside home devastated by Storm Babet as mud destroys furniture
A family’s home in Brechin was devastated by mud after the River South Esk burst its banks during Storm Babet.
The storm claimed the lives of four people across the UK.
In a visit to the Brechin town, Humza Yousaf said the local council would receive the funding it needs to recover.
Speaking to a resident, the First Minister said: “We’ll support you as much as we can.”
Footage shows furniture inside a house, including a bathtub, destroyed as mud and debris cover the floor.
