White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is holding a briefing with journalists on Tuesday.

Ms Psaki has already answered a range of questions this week, notably addressing recent reports that China tested hypersonic missiles over the summer and giving an update on the status of US and Canadian missionaries that were kidnapped in Haiti last weekend.

She could be further quizzed on domestic policy on Tuesday, as Joe Biden’s climate agenda still hangs in the balance in the Senate ahead of the Cop26 summit later this month.
