Police dog tackles runaway driver after he climbs down drainpipe
A fugitive driver who jumped out of a window to avoid Warwickshire Police was chased and wrestled to the ground by a police dog, dramatic footage shows.
Liviu Radu, 29, of Barston Close, weaved in and out of traffic as he led authorities on a high-speed chase through Bedworth and Binley Woods, on 16 March.
After crashing his car, he fled to a house and was seen climbing down a drainpipe and hiding behind a bin before being caught by a police dog.
Radu was given a 12 month suspended sentence for offences including driving without insurance, driving dangerously and driving not in accordance with a license.
