UK Armed Forces play Ukrainian songs to celebrate country’s Independence Day

The UK Armed Forces has marked Ukraine Independence Day by performing a number of songs.

The performance took place in the Horse Guards Parade earlier this week to mark Ukraine Independence Day on Thursday 24 August.

The Band of The Scots Guard performed their rendition of Eurovision 2022 winning hit Stefania in tribute to the people of Ukraine.

Meanwhile in Ukraine, destroyed Russian tanks and other military hardware have been displayed in Kyiv‘s main street to mark the country‘s Independence Day

President Zelensky has also addressed the nation in a special broadcast.
