News reporter stuns presenter by proposing live on air

A news anchor was left stunned after her boyfriend - a reporter on the same channel - proposed to her live on air.

Cornelia Nicholson, a news presenter on local Tennessee network WRCB, said “Yes” to her partner Riley Nagel in an emotional scene.

“Cornelia, I do have a very special report for people at home,” Nagel’s speech began, before he listed all the things he admired about his partner and popped the question.

“I’m gunna cry,” a tearful, but smiling, Nicholson said. “Yes.”
