Terrified guests at Disneyland Tokyo take cover amid 6.2-magnitude earthquake
Guests at Disneyland Tokyo were left crouching on the pavements of the theme park and cowering in the attraction’s gift shop as a 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Japan’s east coast yesterday (26 May).
The quake epicentered off the coast of Chiba, while also impacting the Ibaraki prefecture, however, there have been no reports of serious damage or fatalities.
No tsunami warning was issued.
It comes less than a month after over 20 people were injured and one killed during an earthquake in central Japan.
