Firefighters attended the scene of a suspected gas explosion in Swansea on Monday, 13 March.

One person was reported missing and three have been taken to hospital after two properties were left in ruins and neighbouring houses were damaged.

An individual was "unaccounted for" and searches were underway after the blast on Clydach Road and Field Close in Morriston, South Wales Police said.

Wales & West Utilities, the gas operator in Wales and parts of South West England, said an investigation was underway but the cause of the blast was not yet known.
