Storm Ida causes state of emergencies in New York and New Jersey
The remnants of the Storm Ida have caused state of emergencies to be issued in New York and New Jersey with record rainfall in parts of the US Atlantic coast.
Six people are reported to have died due to the flooding, with NBC saying four were in New York City and two in New Jersey.
In the above video, you can see people abandoning their cars in the middle of the road and the rain pelting down in New York’s Central Park.
