Pub and houses flooded as deep water rushes down road in Nottinghamshire village
A pub and houses have been semi-submerged by flooding in Caunton, Nottinghamshire, as Storm Babet hit the Midlands.
Fire services in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire had shared pictures on social media website X on Friday 20 October of vehicles in water after drivers were rescued.
More footage shows deep floodwater rushing down a road in Caunton, leaving the local pub, The Beck, and a number of houses semi-submerged.
Heavy rain and strong winds are continuing to impact rail services in the Midlands, with train companies advising passengers to check their journey before they travel.
