Speeding driver filmed losing control of car minutes before killing man
A speeding driver was caught losing control of his car just minutes before a fatal crash which killed a pedestrian.
Brandon South, 22, also repeatedly filmed himself on his mobile phone speeding across South Yorkshire in his Skoda Fabia.
This clip shows South driving his car along Haugh Road on 7 January, 2022, at an average of 74mph when he loses control of the vehicle.
Shortly afterwards he crashed into 43-year-old Robert Chessman who was killed.
South appeared before Sheffield Crown Court on 1 March and was sentenced to seven-years and six-months in prison and was been disqualified from driving for five years.
